The best in wet and snow conditions and they LAST..
I live in the Netherlands and I use the Heidenau because I drive all year round and need a tire that is good in cold, wet conditions en even light snow. My first set lasted over 25.000 km and the reason that I did put new ones on was that I did drive to the Nordkapp in Norwegian. A trip over 10.000km on ruff tarmac end gravel roads with a load of around 90 kg of luggage.
I have now still 4mm of tread on the tires and no cupping at all.
And if you drive in Germany it is the only tire that is a legal “Winterreiffen” winter tire.
G2 silky smooth .
Throttle is so easy to fit and change cams feels more solid in your hand when ridding and man is it smooth to twist would recommend it was tossing up about buying one so glad I did.
Awesome waterproof bag.
Have used this in the PNW for almost a year of 60 miles daily rain or shine bike commuting. Absolutely awesome! Dry. Light but rugged. Easy to use. Firmly attaches to stock Superduke seat loops. has loops allowing to stack other Kriega bags or random stuff with a cargo net. No visible wear so far. Good stuff!
Much better than stock.
I wouldn't say this windscreen is perfect, but it is WAY better than stock. I'm 5' 9" and for me, the head buffeting is much reduced -- on the order of 30-50%. As with the stock screen, the buffeting starts to increase noticeably at about 70mph. Below 70, this screen decreases the noise at the helmet and makes highway riding much more pleasant. Just like with the stock screen, the amount of buffeting depends on how smooth the air is as it hits the windscreen. If you are on a 3 lane highway with large trucks creating turbulence, the screen is much less effective.
One beef: although the front of the screen looks good, the back looks pretty lousy, like a HS shop project gone bad. I plan to fill and paint mine this winter.
